Inverness to Skye

(Morgan) Packed up from Tulloch and headed to the Isle of Skye! What is so wonderful about Scotland is that it is all about the journey AND the destination. 

As we journeyed up the countryside, we made a few stops along the way. First up was a ‘wee’ little hiking trail with this wonderful stone labyrinth. 

Next we stopped at Eilean Donan Castle (fun fact: Highlander with Sean Connery was filmed here). 

Before we finally made it to our cottage on Staffin - a small town on the Isle of Skye. 

The views are beyond spectacular, and again, thank god for E and Allie’s driving skills because its hard to keep your eyes on the (very windy, bumpy, one lane) roads with all of these gorgeous views. 

Spent the night enjoying some homemade fettuccine and giggling in the couch over a few bottles of wine. Perfection.
